Yoshiyuki Tomino is going to be in the U.S. as a Guest of Honor at the New York Anime Festival in late September. Tomino. The creator of Gundam.

The last time he was here was for the Big Apple Anime Festival way back in 2002, so it's been seven years now. It's very likely he's coming back to commemorate Gundam's 30th anniversary this year. Somehow, I need to make it to this con for a day.

Luckily, there's still lots of time between now and the end of September. I've always wanted to meet Tomino! I guess we'll see what happens with this...
